Small 896 SQ Ft FixerUpper in Farmington WV
Yes it needs work and investment. If that's something you can do, maybe this is the house for you, it could be really good. If you're looking to get out to the rent cycle and stop investing in someone else's property, think about it.
House with solid bones and thick foundation, needs some work. Built in 1910, they don't build them like that anymore. It's my understanding that the one story houses on this block were built for the mine managers back in the day...
It needs a septic. The old system was a nonconforming steel tank and it's rusted up and not usable. The septic drain is located at the back corner of the house.
I don't know a lot about the plumbing but city water is available.
The electricity is still on although surely it could use some updates.
The roof is nearing the end of it's lifespan.
I don't know about the heating system but there is city gas available.
That's about all I know about the house, buyer should make their own evaluation.
